I’ve been using Procreate lately and learning how to make finished work with it. These are a couple of Alanis Morissette. One is a drawing I scanned in and added a little color to. My thinking is that she is someone who has an energy, a passion, and enthusiasm that won’t diminish even as she ages and turns grey. I love how she always looks happy when she’s singing. The second is a reference to when she played God In the film Dogma. Also, it’s a reference to her energy and what radiates from her when she performs. She’s someone who has turned passion and heartbreak into beautiful music, and tried to reach something deeper.
