Eno
I came upon this section of the Eno River while on a hike on Occoneechee Mountain. I loved the pink and gray of the ground and the reflection of the sky in the water.

Dover
I began with the sky, a mix of violets and pale yellows and then pushed the greens around in a way that reminded me of a path from an old photo I took while on a trip to Dover. Pastel greens with hints of magenta and purple. Painted thickly with a palette knife.
